Open access waiver request

The “Open Access to Scholarly Articles” policy gives the University of Minnesota a license to make articles available to the world. This waiver will invalidate that license for this individual author, for this specific article. This individual author will hold intact whatever copyright ownership is granted to them under the Board of Regents’ Policy: Copyright.

If there are multiple authors involved with this article, some copyright ownership or may also belong to them, or to their employers or institutional sponsors.

Anyone who requests a waiver using this form will automatically receive a separate email message confirming the waiver, which can be shared with publishers if they require documentation.
