Digital Video Delivery expands video delivery approaches to include on-demand digitization and streaming of video content in support of classroom instructional needs.
Request a video to be digitized
Course materials services provides digitization of videos in the Libraries' collection for instructional purposes. Digitized videos are loaded into Kaltura for inclusion in Canvas and other course pages.
Submit a video digitization request
Services include
- ensuring that a requested video is currently in the Libraries' collection, or if it can be purchased as a streaming video,
- digitizing physical item materials in the Libraries' collection such as DVD or VHS, with consideration of legal issues,
- uploading your digitized videos to Kaltura, the University’s media management system (this includes the ability to restrict access to affiliated users only), and
- adding a link to the streaming video file into the relevant Canvas Library Course Materials page.
